Bu yazıda Avrupa Hekimler Daimi Komitesi’nİn (CPME) de aralarında olduğu, Avrupa’daki hekimleri, sağlık çalışanlarını, tıp öğrencilerini ve tıp eğitimi alanındaki tarafl arı temsil eden çok sayıda sağlık örgütünün kaleme aldığı ve tıp eğitiminde ilaç şirketlerinin etkisine yönelik olarak hazırlanan ortak tutum metni belgesine yer verilmektedir. Avrupa İlaç Sanayi ve Dernekleri Federasyonu (EFPIA) tarafından hazırlanan ve ilaç sanayine tıp eğitiminin içeriğine müdahale etme, reklam ve tanıtım faaliyetlerini “eğitim” adı altında gizleme yolunu açan yönetmeliğe tepki olarak hazırlanan tutum metni, ilaç şirketlerine tıp eğitiminin içeriğini etkileme hakkı tanınmaması gerektiğine vurgu yapmaktadır. This article present the joint response of the organizations of European doctors including the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME),healthcare professionals, medical students and medical education stakeholders to the intervention of pharmaceutical industry to medical education. The joint response criticizes the new code of practice adopted by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) for allowing the industry to interfere with the content of medical education and to conceal promotional and informational activities under the guise of education while stressing that pharmaceutical industries must be denied the right to infl uence the content of medical education.
