Sağlıkta Dönüşüm Programı sağlık uygulamaları, finansmanı, çalışma biçimlerinin yanı sıra eğitimde de değişikliklere neden olmuştur. Eğitim kurumlarında yapısal değişiklikler, önceliğin hizmete dönmesi, eğitici atamalarında adaletsizler, performansa dayalı ücretlendirme gibi temel değişimler uzmanlık eğitiminde nitelik kaybına yol açmıştır. Asistan hekimler bu süreçte önemli hak kayıplarına uğramıştır.

The Health Transformation Program has caused changes in health practices, financing, working styles as well as education. Fundamental changes such as structural changes in educational institutions, shift of priority to service, inequities in the appointment of trainers, and payment policies to educators have led to a loss of qualification in specialty education. Assistant physicians suffered significant loss of rights in this process.
