AKP hükümetleri döneminde meslek örgütlerine yönelik baskılar giderek arttı. Ancak burada Türk Tabipleri Birliği’ne (TTB) yönelik özel bir uygulamanın olduğunu çok açık görüyoruz. Bunun temel sebebi bu dönemde görev yapan TTB Merkez Konseyleri ve TTB kadrolarının AKP’ye karşı sadece eleştiren değil, aynı zamanda mücadele eden politik tavrıdır. TTB AKP iktidarları döneminde hekimlik ve insanlık değerlerini hiçbir zaman elinden düşürmedi. Tam tersine AKP’nin bu değerlere saldırısının giderek arttığı süreçte TTB ısrarla bu değerlere sarıldı. Bu büyük mücadeleyi en büyük kapışma dönemlerinden örneklerle tartışmak süreci anlamak açısından bize kolaylıklar sağlayacaktır.

During the AKP governments, the pressure on professional organizations increased. However, we clearly see that there is a special application for the Turkish Medical Association (TTB). The main reason for this is the political attitude of the TTB Central Councils and TTB cadres, who served in this period, not only criticizing but also fighting against the AKP. TTB has never let down the values of medicine and humanity during AKP rule. On the contrary, in the process of increasing AKP’s attack on these values, TTB gradually embraced these values. Discussing this great struggle with examples from the greatest struggle periods will provide us convenience in terms of understanding the process.
